Kelly Dillard is an abstract expressionist artist. Inspired by nature, her work is painted intuitively, capturing not the reality of nature, but the spirit. She has a way of evoking emotions and feelings in her pieces, that allow the viewer to create their own narrative.
Her work is intriguing, using a juxtaposition of opposite forces. She creates a dual symbolic energy of tension and peace, stillness and playfulness, as well as boldness and calmness, that resonates with the viewer.
